A Whole New Way to Treat Your Child
|
|
"Thank You For Saving My Daughter's Life." When I brought my daughter to you last week, she had a high fever. I really thought it was just a virus, but she didn't seem right to me and I decided to bring her in. Thank God I did, but more importantly, thank God that you realized she could have an infection and gave her an injection of antibiotics.
From my understanding, a Strep A infection of the blood can be life threatening. If you hadn't acted so quickly, she might have ended up in the hospital.
Some doctors are reluctant to use antibiotics now, and I am glad that you did not tell me to "wait one more day" to see how she was doing. One more day might have been too long.
You are an amazing doctor and I thank you for saving my daughter's life.
A Great Customer Service Team
Just wanted
to write and let someone know what a wonderful staff you have at your Bandera
Location. My regular pediatrician was closed, so I decided to call Little Spurs
Pediatric Urgent Care, because my 3 year old son had been coughing. We had
visited our regular pediatrician a week prior, but the cough was still present,
and even worse. The medication given to him from our regular pediatrician
was obviously not working.
So, I
called at 9am on Wednesday, May 23rd and made sure they were open. A
very nice receptionist answered and said to come on in. I had to go to
work, so my husband went with our three year old son.
At noon, I
checked in with my husband, and he said everything went well, and that the
staff was great! He said the wait time was very limited, and the staff
really personalized their service to our son's needs. We are use to
waiting at our regular pediatrician's office for an hour in the waiting room,
and then our doctor will see us for 10 minutes.
My husband said the treating physician and the nurse were so wonderful to our son.
I called
at 5pm to check on a mask that we may have been able to get instead of
going through the pharmacy, and to my surprise the same young lady that I had
spoken to at 9am was still there, and she was just as nice as she was when I
called in first thing in the morning, even though it was already the end of her
day.
I would like
to say, that I wish our regular pediatrician's office was as nice, quick, and
knowledgeable as your staff! Best of all, our son is doing much better
with the correct diagnosis and medication!
So, please
keep up the great work! It is nice to know that a great customer service
team like yours still exists today! I will definitely refer you to all our
friends and family!
