Wow, it is HOT. Texas summers are killers, and it is time to worry about heat-related illnesses. Now is the time everyone is going to SeaWorld, Schlitterbahn, Fiesta Texas and all the fun water parks.
There are a number of things you can do to get your child ready for a long day at the park and keep them safe but having fun at the same time.
If you child starts saying they are too hot, too cold, or nauseous, get them to a cold area as soon as you can or have them take a cool shower. Heat exhaustion can happen quickly and leads to heat stroke.
